Knowing where to start on your sustainability journey can be a daunting prospect. There are a myriad of frameworks and standards out there, but what is right for your organisation, and what compliments your business framework?

Measure

The starting point is understanding what to monitor and measure. Carbon exists in every part of a business’s operations. Identifying what and how to map is key for reducing your carbon footprint.

Carbon is divided into scopes 1, 2, and 3, however, these different scopes can often add to the confusion of knowing what emissions lie where.

Generic tools and standards such as B-Corps or ISO 14001 may not be right you for. We can customise an environment management system that maps and measures your emissions annually.

Reduce

Once you’ve measured your impacts you can start to set targets. In advertising and production, the most common target is net zero by 2030.

Business travel, production, and energy are where the largest emissions lie, however there are many more in the media operations and supply chain to identify and control.

Behaviour change also plays a big part here and employee education is essential to successfully roll out carbon saving objectives. We have regularly give staff training sessions to help bring everyone on a motivating journey.

Report

Producing an annual report will allow you to showcase your achievements year on year and also to publicise your goals as well as signalling your commitment to your clients and stakeholders.
